The trail is well marked with yellow arrows and grey stone markers, except on its way through Cáceres, where there are no signs and you need to follow the flow of traffic. Cycling is slightly difficult on some stretches during the rainy season.
Heavy traffic on the way through Cáceres. The streams and brooks that need fording are very well conditioned with stone stepping blocks.
The percentage of trails/paths is 90%, with the remaining 10% being paved roads.
