Carretera · Stage 8 · 86 Kilometres See map
A comfortable stage and easy stretch of the route, despite being nearly 100 km long.
You leave the town and head for Salamanca. In Aldeatejada, take the bike lane that leads directly to the stone bridge over the River Tormes, thus avoiding traffic. Here you can see the town’s unique old quarter or continue on, never leaving the now familiar N-630, which leads directly to Zamora.
On the dual carriageway at the entrance to Zamora, at km 82 take the exit to the right to Zamora Oeste (west) and continue straight on until you reach the stone bridge over the River Duero. After crossing the bridge, you head uphill through pedestrian streets to the Plaza Mayor (town square), where this stage ends.
